FRIDAY January 26, 2024, 5-9PM: "This is Telemark" Movie & Bonfire Ski Night

Join the Noco Kneedroppers bringing the official New York showing of "This is Telemark" to Lake Placid! Free for everyone to attend, this is Tele Colo's first full length film (and the first telemark film in quite some time). Following the film we will have a raffle with great prizes, and all raffle proceeds will go to support NoCo KneeDroppers and their mission to get more people on Tele skis!  

High Peaks Cyclery and Scotts Cobble Nordic Center will be hosting a full moon bonfire and ski night starting at 6PM. The film will be showing inside the clubhouse starting at 7PM. Come celebrate all things free-heel!

An Epic Race Series in the Spectacular Mountains!

Get ready for an exhilarating ski race series set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Adirondack Mountains. Spanning six venues and multiple distances, the race series will unfold from December through March, promising an exciting challenge for ski enthusiasts.

Join us at Scotts Cobble Nordic Center for the 4th race in the series.

• 10k Skiathlon (5k Classic Loop followed by 5k Skate Loop) | Start time: 11:00 AM | Entry fee: $25

Join us from 5pm-8pm for another night of skiing on the trails. Take advantage of the full moon light and ski with family and friends out to bonfires around the Nordic Center! Ski, Snowshoe, and Sled rentals will be available.

Bar and cafe will be open until 8 with a limited food menu and food/drink specials!

SUNDAY March 3, 2024: Go Telemark Day - Mt Pisgah

In Collaboration with the Noco Kneedroppers, this year we will be celebrating Go Telemark Day with our friends at Mt Pisgah making great use of their lodge, race slope, and park features. Free telemark demos will be available through our friends High Peaks Cyclery , Scarpa ,  G3 Gear , and J Skis . On top of that we will have gear to try from 22 Designs , Voile Mfg , and DPS skis.

The lodge at Mt Pisgah will have food available throughout the day, and we will have a series of not-so-serious competitions in the afternoon. We will also be rolling films from our friends at Tele Colo in the lodge and rumor has it we will be raffling off some of their merch along with the rest of our raffle prizes.

If have been dropping knees since the 70's, or if you want to try it out for the first time, this is the best event of the winter for you. Looking forward to an amazing time with our northcountry community.

CANCELLED March Ski-Mo Mondays: March 4, 11, 18 6pm at Scotts Cobble Nordic Center

Have you ever wanted to try out the new sport of Ski Mo racing? This will be a fun event for all levels, and an introductory to the sport. Uphill, boot packing, transitions and downhill sections will be included. 

Rental Alpine Touring equipment will be available on a first come first serve basis.
