15+ kilometers of groomed trails for cross country skiing, fat biking, snowshoeing, and sledding. Scotts Cobble was opened in 2022 with the goal of reacquainting local communities with the culture of Nordic skiing. Operated by High Peaks Cyclery in partnership with the town of North Elba.
TRAIL CONDITIONS UPDATE
12/17/25: Trails are in great shape with grooming planned for the evening of 12/17.
With the rain forecasted this week, Scotts Cobble trails will be CLOSED FRIDAY 12/19. Please NO SKIERS OR DOGS on the trails on Friday to preserve the snowpack. Conditions will be updated on Saturday with the latest status after the rain (and hopefully followed by snow!)
